Brand Development & Design Assets

Objective

As an environmental leader, Encina Wastewater Authority (EWA) is committed to the delivery of clear, engaging, and consistent messaging to its customers, the clean water community, and the public. To this end, EWA wished to develop a unified brand platform to drive communication about its services and products. The brand platform should aligned with EWA's Mission and Vision - protecting the Pacific Ocean; producing and using renewable resources; and practicing fiscal responsibility.

Tactics

Create brand names and corresponding creative assets for EWA's resource recovery programs:

  • The PureWater program is about supporting the six member agencies in water recycling and engaging with the community to talk about the quality of the water we’re putting in the ocean and the overall health of the local marine environment.
  • PureEnergy aligns with the authority board’s goal to achieve energy independence in a financially prudent way and with an energy management strategic plan adopted in 2011.
  • PureGreen are the Class A biosolids pellets
  • PureKnowledge represents staff resources and information
